Implementing 3D Weapons

Hey all - I've finally added some 3D weapons into my project! One small step to making my game a bit more polished and professional. Here are some screenshots and a short video showing off the three different weapons. I didn't model them but I am the animator. Right now, since I'm a one-man show and the game is pre-alpha, the animations are pretty simple. Remember Timesplitters the first? I'm channeling a bit of that energy with the weapon reloads. That game and PS1/N64 era stuff.

I'm actually pretty new to weapon animation so I probably need to give these some more work - hands or no hands. I like the Mac10 but the other two I'm iffy on. This is kind of a case of "Just make it exist first, you can make it good later", though. Really, my whole game is that right now. Anyway, check out the bullet tracers! Since Easy FPS Editor doesn't have the option for 3D projectiles, I had the idea to simulate it somehow in the animation. I think it came out pretty decent. The revolver tracer is unfortunately not seen in the video but that's a good thing (in my eyes) since it's not seen as often. The other two weapons have pretty noticeable tracers. Let me know what you think!

These 3D weapons and more will be included in the next update!

As I mentioned above, I didn't model the weapons. Special thanks to modelers below! They saved me a lot of time - I was able to skip the modeling and go straight to animating and in-game testing! If you're interested, you can download the models or check out their work by clicking on the links!
